Phones, Mobiles, Internet
There are heaps of different options out there at the moment for mobile, home phone & internet deals. Make sure you shop around for the best deal before you sign your life away!
Here are a few of the better options that we have come across:
- Telstra has pre-paid home! The call rates are still pretty good (20c local phone calls etc) and line rental is only $14! (compared to the usual $20-$30).
- You can check your balance whenever you like which means you can stay in control
- If you are in a share house, you can also have separate accounts from the other people you live with which means you don’t have to worry about dodgy housemates making international calls!
- For more information, go to Telstra Prepaid Home
- If you can get away without a home phone (ie if you don’t need internet), go for a talk cap.
- Optus and Vodafone both have talk caps without plans so you don’t have to sign your life away
- Optus spend $30, get $120 worth of credit.
- Vodafone, spend $49, get $230 worth of credit, still with pretty good costs per minute and bonuses.
- Dodo has some really good deals on mobile, home phone and internet.
- Mobile- spend $49.95, get $300 worth of calls
- Broadband $44.95 for unlimited downloads, or if you don’t use much internet, only $9.95 a month.
- Good home phone rates as well & still good quality internet.
